How to Add Money to Apple Pay With a Credit Card

You may have used your debit card to add funds to your Apple Pay account. But it is not mandatory. You can add cash to Apple Pay while using your credit card.

• Head to the app drawer and open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
• Choose the Apple Cash Card on your iPhone Wallet app.
• You’ll find an option on the Apple Cash Card that says Add Money. Click on that.
• Enter an amount of money into your Apple Cash. 
• The minimum amount should be $10.00.
• Make sure to use a US-based credit card. Otherwise, a non-US card didn’t work.
• Enter the credit card details, such as card number, name on card, valid through, and CVV code.
• Use your card’s verification system to confirm the money transfer from your credit card account to your Apple Cash Card.
• You will need to enter the OTP for verification of the transaction if your credit card sends to your mobile.
• However, in most cases, a credit card may not need further verification rather than the card details.

Add Money to Apple Pay Without a Credit Card

You can also accumulate funds in Apple Pay without using your credit card. If you don’t want to use your credit card, you have another option to add funds to apple pay by using your bank account. In this procedure, you don’t need your bank’s credit or debit card.

• First of all, launch the Wallet app on your iPhone.
• Tap on the Apple Cash option from the Wallet app.
• Then you will see the three-dot icon at the top right side of your screen; tap on it.
• After that, a pop-up menu list appears on your iPhone screen. Here tap on the add money option if you already have a linked bank account to add balance to your bank account.

NOTE: If you don’t have a linked bank account on your Apple Pay, tap on Add a bank account to your Apple Pay and add your bank account details. However, remember that you can only have one linked account at a time for apple pay.

Check Your Apple Pay Balance After Transaction

Whether you added money or transferred funds to your Apple Pay ID using a credit card, or someone else transferred funds to your Apple Pay ID, follow the steps below to confirm that you’ve received the funds: 

• Find and open the iPhone Wallet app.
• Click on your Apple Pay Cash Card.
• The Apple Cash Card will open in full-screen mode, with the current balance displayed in the top right corner.
• Suppose the balance has been raised by the amount you had requested or transferred from a credit card. It means that it works!
