• Step 5: Then navigate to the Account option from the settings page.
• Step 6: Now scroll down and look for the delete account option. Then tap on this option.
• Step 7: After that, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Deactivate account option.

• Step 8: Here, you will see the box Why are you disabling your account? Under that, you will see this is temporary; I will be back option tap on that.

• Step 9: Type your Insta password and tap on the Temporarily deactivate account option.

• Step 10: Click on the OK option for the confirmation then you will sign out from your Instagram account from all your linked devices.

Key Point: A window will appear on your screen when you navigate to the Why you are disabling your account option. You can choose Automatically reactivate my account and pick 1 day…7 days, or leave it as a don’t auto restart option.

If you choose the automatically reactivate your account option, then your Insta account will robotically reactivate subsequently at the time stated. If not, you must physically log in to your account to reboot it whenever you want.
